Bio

   Ever since I was a child, I’ve only ever wanted to create things; art, crafts, writing, or anything that involved using my imagination. Today, as an artist my practice is the same. I do what my imagination tells me to do, which leads me to create works I have genuine love for. 

   In my art, I tend to incorporate what I’m inspired by into my compositions. I love looking through old home photographs and movies and rereading/rewatching the media that influenced me. In most of my art, I try to capture the whimsy of childhood by recreating the methods I’ve seen used by other artists. 

   I have a background using a wide variety of media and styles, which allows me to mix styles and techniques. For my traditional art, I am comfortable using a mix of mediums. In addition to this, I enjoy doing non-traditional art like digital projects. 

   In my works, I hope to communicate deeper messages than what they appear to be on the surface. However, I believe that these messages are up to interpretation by the viewer. In my experience, I’ve noticed that allowing viewers to choose their own interpretation can give them a more powerful experience.
